Merlin's Keep are a folk band based in the fishing town of Grimsby. Their original music is rooted in the landscape and folklore of their Lincolnshire home, while at the same time reflecting the life, loves and dreams that are common to us all.
Sime Naylor, guitar, vocals, is the band's front man and main lyricist. He has an uncanny ability to communicate with, and include every audience member in the band's performance.
Sue Naylor, vocals, percussion, is responsible for creating the beautiful vocal harmonies which are characteristic of the Merlin's Keep sound.
Tracey Smith, fiddle and vocals, combines her classical background with rock, folk and roots influences, and switches effortlessly from the most delicate melodies to driving fiddle riffs.
Amy Naylor, - cajon, percussion, vocals, adds a unique energy and groove to the band's sound. She is an established singer songwriter, orbipan performer and Taiko drummer, and has performed around the world. She joins us when she's not on her travels.
Tony Smith, is the band's in-house sound engineer, technician, driver and general dogsbody.
