Our newest work, Havelok The Dane, is a folk opera. This limited first edition (only 150 copies) CD and accompanying booklet contain original songs,
poetry and narrative sections and tells the story of how young Prince Havelok
of Denmark was rescued from certain death and brought to England by the hero
Grim. Growing up incognito and marrying into royalty, Havelok realised his true
calling and sets out to overthrow two tyrants, Godard of Denmark and Godrich of
England. His success made him king of both countries. The story has local
relevance because Grim was alleged to have carried the child Havelok from the
sea after a storm on to the shores of Lincolnshire. Price includes P&P 1st class.
